The Great Race: Long, occasionally ludicrous, often labored comedy, not the best ever made as promoted. Fight pattern and barroom fight are highlights, although the pie quarrel falls flat, other gimmicks don't work. This is absolutely a mixed box, albeit Natalie looked much better than she did in "The Darling Shrub."
