New Insights About Why Most Internet Entrepreneurs Fail

By Tim Hansczek

Plenty of entrepreneurs who are inexperienced with niche marketing fail. People fail because they follow advice from so called experts who really have absolutely no idea what they are talking about. In the world of affiliate marketing there are a ton of fakers. It is really easy to get lured in by the hope of easy money in this line of work. The truth is that there is no such thing as easy money. You still need to invest a substantial amount of time learning what the truth actually is.

There are a million liars in this industry. Learning how to separate the liars from marketers who speak the truth is one of the most time consuming and upsetting aspects of this line of work. Once you find someone who tells the truth though, you better buckle down and soak up every last ounce of wisdom they offer. They are a rare breed.

Professionals have learned from experience. The professionals decided to earn a living through niche specific marketing for a couple of really intelligent reasons. The first reason is because it is much easier to get a website to rank number one in search engines if you target a really long keyword phrase. The professionals refer to these as long tails. Take a look for yourself. Do you think it would be easier to rank for the term blue widgets or for the term white widgets with purple stripes and blue dots? Obviously there would be a lot fewer websites promoting the longer one. This means that you would have less competitors. Less competition usually means higher ranking.

There are many explanations for why they do it. Another reason that the legitimate pros focus on small niches is because of the numbers game. When you build a blog in niche, you really don't know how much money there really is in that niche until after the work is finished. Can you imagine sinking months and months of your time into a new website only to discover that there isn't any real money in that niche?

If you focus on really small niches, you can easily follow a system that allows you to crank out bunches of websites in any given day. Then it simply becomes a numbers game. You can build a new site very quickly. Then you promote it lightly and as fast as possible. In a few short months you get reasonable Google ranking from the website. Then you find out how much money there really is in that keyword. Then focus on building out the more profitable niches while you let the unprofitable ones set.

This is the most intelligent path to success in this business. By using this method, you can focus on cranking out tiny yet decent sites that accomplish one specific goal. That goal is usually to get the visitor to visit another site. If you've been killing yourself trying to get one blog to make money, I suggest you look into this alternative method.
